The minimum rental period is one month, however if you empty the unit before the rental has ended then we will reimburse you for unused storage time.
If renting a standard shipping container you will be provided with your own key so you are free to access the unit when convenient, although we encourage you to access the units in daylight hours only to avoid disturbing farm residents. You will also be provided with the telephone numbers of the caretakers at Depden Lodge Farm Storage who can help with any problems or give access to the secure units inside our main store.
You can pay by direct debit, bank transfer, cheque or cash.
Customers must sign a simple licence agreement and provide proof of identity (passport/driving license) and proof of address (recent utility bill).

No, the customer is solely responsible for the insurance of the contents whilst they are in store.
We require just 7 days written notice (by post or email) to terminate hire. We will then calculate any refund for unused storage time that you are due.
None of the following items can be stored: Food or perishable goods unless securely packed so that they are protected from and do not attract vermin. Birds, fish, animals or any living creatures. Combustible or flammable materials or liquids such as gas, paint, petrol, oil or cleaning solvents. Firearms, explosives, weapons or ammunition. Compressed gasses, chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents, toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of a potentially dangerous nature. Any item that emits any fumes, smell or odour. Any illegal substances, illegal items or goods illegally obtained.
